Meet the Founder and fellow Artist
Bella is a self-taught artist whose passion for creating began in early childhood, when crayons and sketchbooks became her favorite companions. Over the years, her journey has taken her across the United States and even to the breathtaking landscapes of Peru. With a keen eye for color and emotion, Bella uses her natural talents to capture everything from the deep red rocks of Colorado to the misty, ethereal forests of the Washington coast.
In 2021, Bella took her first step into the business side of her art-filled life. Setting up a booth at a local farmer’s market, she was met with overwhelming support, selling out many of her original pieces with ease. That moment marked the beginning of a new chapter—one where creativity and entrepreneurship intertwined.
Now nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Bella continues to pour her soul into her work from her cozy home studio. Her pieces—rich with impressionistic detail and grounded in the raw beauty of nature—are shared with her close-knit family and a growing community of collectors and admirers.
Outside the studio, Bella turns her lens to the world around her. As a nature photographer, she captures serene, awe-inspiring moments in the wild. Her dedication and eye for detail have earned her over 25 online awards, solidifying her presence in the digital art space.
For Bella, art isn’t just a profession—it’s a lifelong journey, shaped by travel, family, and the ever-changing beauty of the natural world.

"Bella: How has receiving recognition from peers shaped your journey as an artist?
Skott: Tough one, as my paintings are often untitled, allowing the viewer to have more of an open perspective. It means different things to different people depending sometimes on their life experiences. I like when my paintings promote positivity or tranquility, but that’s not life, so some paintings definitely have a dark side as well.
Bella: What advice would you give to emerging artists searching for their style or voice?
Skott: My advice is to work obsessively. Create a huge body of work that you are satisfied with. Don’t become obsessed with sales, for it will not only cloud the purity of your work (only took me 20 years to make somewhat of a living at it, but it’s a long process—from coffee shops to galleries to museums. Also, networking with other artists is sometimes a good road, although galleries normally take 40% of your sale price; sometimes the exposure can be beneficial in the beginning of your career. The key is persistence, but through constant work, you will see improvements in your ability to relay concepts and render images. But most of all, put your favorite band on, close your studio door, and just disappear—sometimes that will be the biggest payoff you get."
